5 unanimous for All-SICL girls

When the coaches in the South Iowa Cedar League voted on the all-conference choices for the girls basketball team, there was a lot of agreement.

Five of the eight girls chosen for the first team were unanimous choices with league leader Montezuma having two of the five.

Sigourney was the East Division champion and Kaylee Weber was one of the five.

Montezuma was the West Division champion and is in the state tournament for the fourth consecutive year. It is Montezuma's 15th appearance all-time. It has two state titles, won in 1969 and 1970.

The Braves went through their league schedule without a loss.

Keota's Sky Weber, who averaged 5.5 points per game, 4.4 rebounds) was a choice for honorable mention. Sigourney's Carly Goodwin was the only freshman recognized.
