58 take part in Pekin basketball camp
PACKWOOD — It is never too young to learn.
Pekin head girls basketball coach Davis Eidahl conducted a basketball camp for girls from kindergarten to sixth grade this past weekend.
There were 58 participants in the camp, and they were divided into two levels. Kindergarten through the third grade was one section and fourth through sixth grade was the other.
During this time at camp, the girls learned and worked on basketball skills that they will use as they get older.
Eidahl had help with instructions. He directed the camp assisted by Emma Phillips, Alex Parsons, Kerrigan Pope, Chloe Glosser and Maggie Dickey.
