7th-grade girls results

Washington's seventh-grade girls basketball team played at home Jan. 15 and lost to Fairfield 47-5.

Abby Kleese had two points, two rebounds and one steal. Other stats were Audrey Anderson - one rebound, two steals; Gabby Goodwin - two points; Giselle Marcelino - one point; Maci Williams - two rebounds, two steals; Taylor Bartholomew - one rebound, two steals.

Fairfield won the B game 12-0, which was one quarter. Aliyah Jara had one rebound.

On Jan. 17 at home against Ottumwa, the Demons lost 15-6 in the A game and won the B game 10-8.

In the B game, Aliyah Jara - two points, three rebounds; Caitlin Kroll - four points; Emery Walton - two points, two rebounds, four steals; Izzy Jones - two rebounds, one steal; Jetzibe Rocha Sanchez - two points, one rebound, four steals; Julianna Watson - one rebound, two steals; Reagan Stouder - one rebound; Rylee Lie - one steal.
