8 Demons make all-conference

The Southeast Conference released its All-SEC list last week and Washington was well represented. The Demons had eight total names on the All-Conference list.

Ft. Madison, Washington and Mt. Pleasant were the class of the conference this year, so it was no surprise that all first-teamers came from the three schools. Mt. Pleasant had half the first-team list, with Washington getting four first-teamers and Ft. Madison getting three.

Washington had four more make second team.

There were seven Demons named to the All-Academic team. Those wrestlers or managers are juniors and seniors who had a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher.
