8th-grade girls win 1, lose 1

The Washington eighth- grade girls basketball team played at home Tuesday against Fairfield.

The A team lost 37-30 and their record is 2-7. The B team improved to 7-0-1 with a 13-10 win.

Makenna Conrad produced 12 points, five rebounds, and three steals for the A team. Other A team stats are Kenializ Espinosa - six points, three rebounds, five steals; Kaylin Long - six points, two rebounds, six steals; Grace Voss - four points, two rebounds, two steals; Alex Murphy - two points, six rebounds, one steal; Anna Collett - one steal; Alecia Goff - one rebound, two steals; Iris Petersen - one rebound; Bailey Rees - one rebound.

Samantha Hunger had four points, six rebounds and three steals in the B game. Other B game stats are Abby Blasingame - three points, one rebound, one steal; Anna Collett - two points, one rebound; Hayden Janecek - two points, one steal; Gracey Simmering - two points, two rebounds, two steals; Bailey Rees - two rebounds, one steal; Alecia Goff - two rebounds.
