8th grade season ends

The Washington eighth grade girls basketball season came to an end Monday.
The eighth grade A team ended with a 408 record after a 22-16 loss to Keokuk.
The B team ended up unbeaten with a 10-0-1 record after defeating Keokuk 25-15.
In the A game, Makenna Conrad had 10 points, two rebounds and four steals. Other A stats were Kaylin Long - four points, four rebounds, three steals; Alex Murphy - two points, 10 rebounds, one steal; Kenializ Espinosa - five rebounds, one steal; Alecia Goff - six rebounds; Haley Mitchell - two rebounds, one steal; Iris Petersen - four rebounds; Gracey Simmering - one rebound; Grace Voss - five rebounds.
Samantha Hunger led the B team with six points and nine rebounds. Other B team stats were Gracey Simmering - six points, four rebounds, one steal; Bailey Rees - five points, seven rebounds, two steals; Abby Blasingame - two points, two rebounds, three steals; Anna Collett - two points, one rebound, three steals; Hayden Janecek - two points, three rebounds, one steal; Ava Wulf - two points, three steals; Makayla Garrelts - two rebounds, one steal; Ruby Ponce - three rebounds.
