Albert paces Cardinal at Columbus Junction
COLUMBUS JUNCTION ? It was business as usual for Cardinal?s Lindsay Albert at the Columbus Junction Invite Monday.
Albert crossed the line in 18:15 to take sixth overall. Also for Cardinal, Emily Miller was 40th (21:42), followed by Jenny Gordy in 55th (26:42), Kelsey Waddle in 56th (31:21) and Elizabeth Denniston in 57th (31:23).

Albert crossed the line in 18:15 to take sixth overall. Also for Cardinal, Emily Miller was 40th (21:42), followed by Jenny Gordy in 55th (26:42), Kelsey Waddle in 56th (31:21) and Elizabeth Denniston in 57th (31:23).
For the Cardinal boys, Cody Waddle was the top Comet in 52nd with a clocking of 22:43. Brandon Marcella was 57th (25:00).
In the JV races, Samia Harrington was 12th overall in the girls? race (27:38). Connor Munkirs and Alex Williams finished in 33:28 and 33:30, respectively.
The Comets? next race will be the Southeast Iowa Super Conference meet hosted by Van Buren Thursday in Keosauqua.
