All-RVC girls: Nonnenmann makes Elite Team

Mid-Prairie’s Maddie Nonnenmann is officially elite, at least according to the River Valley Conference.

Nonnenmann was named to the 10-player ‘Elite Team,’ a collection of the top players in the River Valley’s North or South Division.

Nonnenmann scored 15.8 points per game, third-best in the River Valley South. She also finished the year with 5.3 rebounds per game, and blocked 1.2 shots per game, which put her in fourth in the South Division.

Teammate Amara Jones was named to the South Division squad. The Golden Hawks’ junior scored 10.2 points per game this season, pulled down 5.2 rebounds per game, dished uut 3.9 assists per game, and co-led the South in steals per game, with 3.5.

Making the honorable mention list for Mid-Prairie was sophomore Nora Pennington. Pennington scored 5.2 points per game, which was third-best on the team.
