All-SEC Academic baseball players announced
Washington leads area with six athletes named to list

The 2022 Southeast Conference baseball team was announced on Thursday, and along with those came the All-Academic list, which honors area players who excelled in the classroom.
Washington had nine players make the list. Fairfield received six honorees, and Mt. Pleasant had five.
Only seniors and juniors are eligible to make the All-Academic team. Washington’s list included six juniors and three seniors. Fairfield’s list had four seniors and two juniors. Mt. Pleasant’s group was made of three seniors and two juniors.
