All-SEC soccer teams named

The Southeast Conference has released its all-conference teams for boys and girls soccer.

Washington landed three girls on the all-conference team with Trina Griffin, Greta Rothe and Narely Torrijos. Olivia Pacha and Halle Leyden garnered honorable mention accolades. Rothe was the only freshman to be named on either the boys or girls teams.

Goalkeeper Josie Pumphrey of Ft. Madison was named Player of the Year despite finishing fourth in save percentage (.735) and fifth in saves (75). Washington's Pacha led the league in saves (216) and percentage (.882).

Five juniors made Academic All-Conference in Guadalupe DeLa Rosa, Samantha Farmer, Halle Leyden, Olivia Pacha and Abbygail Voss.

Washington had Benjamin Baughman and Caleb Suchan claim all-conference accolades while Pacual Mendoza and Levi Rohr received honorable mention.

Mt. Pleasant's Nathan Rauenbuehler was named Player of the Year. He led the league in goals (21) and assists (10).

Washington's Academic All-Conference players are Seniors Baughman and Garrett Ikerd with juniors German Ramirez, David Rees and Levi Rohr.
