All-SEC wrestling teams released

The Southeast Conference released its 2025-26 All-Conference wrestling teams last week, and all three Union area schools were well represented on both the boys and girls sides.
Co-SEC wrestling champion Fairfield had this year’s Wrestler of the Year in Class 2A 175-pound third-place finisher Dain Burkhart. On the girls’ side, Ft. Madison’s 140-pounder, Mara Smith, took top honors.
