Allen, Weaton, Lane lead Fairfield to win
The Trojans end a four game slide in win over Davis County

BLOOMFIELD — Fairfield’s Tate Allen, Max Weaton and JJ Lane had everything going on the offensive side of the ball in the Trojans Monday night contest against Davis County.
The three combined 56 points, Allen with 21, Weaton with 20 and Lane with 15, propelling the Trojans to a 69-55 victory over the Mustangs. Weaton also tallied a double-double with 11 rebounds.
The game was close to start, but the Trojans were quick to change that.
Following the first quarter, Fairfield held just a four-point lead, 17-13. In the second, the Trojans poured in 25 points, to Davis County’s 15 giving them a 42-28 lead at the half.
In the second half, Fairfield hung on to the lead.
The Trojans and Mustangs scored 27 a piece in the second half, allowing Fairfield to secure the win.
Other scorers for the Trojans were Evan Haines and Hunter Cecchini with four. Ryan Higgins finished with three and Sam Weaton ended with two.
With the win, Fairfield improves to 4-9 on the season and will host No. 1 ranked Fort Madison on Thursday.
