FAIRFIELD — Tuesday night marks the 2025 ‘Meet the Trojans’ night, put on by Fairfield High School, in anticipation of the upcoming fall sports season.
FHS released the schedule for this Tuesday’s festivities, which includes a grilled dinner by Hy-Vee available for purchase at Trojan Stadium from 5:30 p.m. — 8 p.m.
The night will start with an all fall sports parents meeting in the high school gym. That includes the girls’ tennis team, which has already begun play in the 2025 season.
The tennis team will meet in the commons at 5:15 p.m., while cheerleaders meet up Room 10, the cross-country team meets in the library, the volleyball team stays in the gym, and the football team heads to the auditorium.
At 6:30 p.m., the Trojan Athletic Boosters will hold a check presentation, either on the track if the weather holds up, or in the gym if it’s raining.
The same is true for the fall sports introductions, which will begin with the cheerleaders, followed by girls’ tennis, cross-country, volleyball and football.
The Trojan volleyball team will hold intrasquad scrimmage in the gym at 7 p.m., the same time as the football team’s practice showcase begins at the stadium.
At the end of the event, Hy-Vee will be providing Popsicles.
