Highland boys vs. IMS 54-46
Bill Burton led Highland scoring 14 points. Chase Rath put in 12, Zack Lasek added 11, Trent Lasek had 10, Jake Wood scored five and Trey Lasek scored two.
IMS was led by Cole Yoder with 15 points, Cole Ours scored nine, Nick Yutzy added eight, Mitchell Schmieder scored six, both Caleb Gingerich and Trevor Leyden put up three and Reggie Borntrager scored two. Highland improves to 11-1, while IMS falls to 8-56 on the season.
Keota boys at Belle Plaine 66-65
Cole Stout led Keota with 21 points, Jacob Wickenkamp scored 15, JD Stout and Luke Greiner scored nine each. Hunter Wilson scored seven and Avery Conrad scored five. The win puts Keota at 12-3.
WACO boys vs. New London 25-69
Conner Eichelberger scored eight points. Wyatt Harbison scored seven, Beau Beckler scored six points while having two points apiece were Cornell Hulme and Nik Coble. WACO is 1-12 for the season.
Columbus boys vs. WMU 46-56
Carter Colby led Columbus with 16 points followed by Daniel Fuentes with seven, Tommy Pretz with six and Ruben Paz with five. Erik Rees scored four points, JD Lekwa also scored four while both Jacob Tiffany and Abel Mena each contributed two points. Columbus falls to 0-14.
Highland girls vs. IMS 63-32
Kelsay Hora was the top Highland scorer with 30 points. Alyson Stokes scored 15, Abbie Miller added seven, Holly Schneider had five points, Amy Schnoebelen scored four and Kylie Wood had two.
Suzanna Yoder led IMS with 14 points. Alyssa Hershberger and Calli Shaw each added six points. Mia Graber, Payton Hart and Rubye Ney rounded out the scoring with a bucket each. Highland is 12-1 and IMS falls to 0-12.
WACO girls vs. New London 32-55
Halle Kissell scored 11 points. Clara Schmitz had eight points. Kristen Conley scored four points. Kasey Sutton added three and having two points each were Ashleigh Hallett, Kiana Miller and Nadiyah Brown. WACO falls to 3-11.
Columbus girls at Winfield 45-40
Shania Boyd scored 23 points in the game. Bailey Stroud had 16 points and having six points was Courtney Zaehringer with six. Stroud tied the school career record for the number of successful 3-pointers in a game, with 53 total. Columbus moves to 7-7 for the year.
