Area boys basketball players earn All-SEC honors

The 2025-26 Southeast Conference boys basketball season is in the books. The league released its All-Conference selections, with area athletes littering the list.
Mt. Pleasant led the way among area teams with five selections, including a pair of first-teamers. Washington had one first-team selection among its four total, while Fairfield had a pair of All-SEC performers.
Senior Noah Lange and his younger brother Isaiah represented the Panthers on the All-SEC first-team. Isaiah led MP in scoring at 14 points per game and averaged 7.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Noah missed a bulk of the season due to injury, but still averaged 11 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 12 games.
Ryan Helling also battled the injury bug this season, but still earned an All-SEC second team selection. Panthers senior Aiden Humble and junior Grayson Lowery earned All-SEC honorable mention honors.
Washington’s Nic Stone was the Demons lone first-teamer. The junior went on a tear to end the regular season, scoring 71 points in Washington’s final four games. Stone’s 14.9 points per game led the team in scoring.
Senior Kael Williams earned a second-team nod for Washington, while Rajan Roth and Drew Conrad earned honorable mention honors. All three players averaged over 10 points per game.
Fairfield had a pair of honorable mention selections in junior Ethan Bisgard and senior Eli Zillman. Bisgard led the Trojans in scoring at 11.9 points per game while Zillman averaged 8.3 points and 7.3 boards in 15 appearances.
Keokuk’s Jaxon Clark was named the SEC Player of the Year. The Chiefs won the conference with a perfect 10-0 record.
