The Iowa Girls Coaches Association released its All-District teams for all five high school girls basketball classes earlier this month. Those lists included four All-Southeast teams, one each for Class 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A.
The Union area had four representatives on the list. Two of those names landed on the Class 1A team, one hit the 2A list and the area had one 3A representative.
Both Class 1A standouts come from the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division. Highland freshman Kamryn Fink and WACO sophomore Brenna Graber both made the team.
Fink scored 16 points per game and pulled down 14.5 rebounds per game, both of which led the Huskies. Graber put up 14.4 points per game, and 2.8 steals per game, leading WACO in both.
Columbus’ Lily Coil made the Class 2A Southeast team. Coil led the Wildcats with 15.4 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game in her senior year.
In Class 3A, Mid-Prairie’s Callie Huber made the list in her senior year. Huber led the Golden Hawks with 11.1 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game.
Listed below are the All-District Southeast Teams for 2024-25. Full lists for all classes can be found on the Iowa Girls Coaches Association website under “basketball.”
