Area quartet named All-State
Mid-Prairie’s Trimpe and Jones, Fairfield’s Moore, Washington’s Raymundo honored by Soccer Coaches Association

The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association released its All-State list this week and four area players were on the list.
The area was most represented on the Class 3A boys’ list, as Fairfield’s Carter Moore and Washington’s Emanuel Raymundo were both named to the honorable mention list.
Moore, a defender, finished the season with four assists for the Trojans, along with one goal. He started all 15 games for the Trojans.
Washington’s Raymundo, a midfielder, led Washington with 19 goals and 11 assists on the season. Like Moore, he started every single game for his team.
Mid-Prairie’s Owen Trimpe was named to the Class 2A boys’ team. Trimpe scored a team-high 19 goals for the Golden Hawks, as well as four assists.
On the girls’ side, Mid-Prairie’s Amara Jones was named to the Class 2A honorable mention list.
Jones, a midfielder/forward, scored 11 goals on the year to lead the Golden Hawks, despite playing in just nine games. She also had three assists
