Area teams run at English Valleys
Four area schools went to English Valleys on Tuesday evening, with a number of strong finishes to show for it.
Keota?s Turner Klein and Iowa Mennonite?s Levi Geyer each posted top-10 finishes at the meet, highlighting the night for the area competitors.
Klein finished in third place, finishing the course in 18:14, while Geyer led IMS with a sixth-place finish, taking the course in 18:28.

Four area schools went to English Valleys on Tuesday evening, with a number of strong finishes to show for it.
Keota?s Turner Klein and Iowa Mennonite?s Levi Geyer each posted top-10 finishes at the meet, highlighting the night for the area competitors.
Klein finished in third place, finishing the course in 18:14, while Geyer led IMS with a sixth-place finish, taking the course in 18:28.
Geyer led IMS to a seventh-place team finish, best among the area teams in attendance.

Behind Klein?s big night, Logan Sieren had a good race for the Eagles, finishing in 29th place with a time of 20:16.
The Eagle boys? team also saw Jason Ree finish in 62nd after posting a 23:05.
The lone Eagle girl competing in the meet, Laurie Amos, took 40th overall in the race, posting a 27:06 for the night.
Iowa Mennonite
Geyer?s sixth-place finish led the IMS boys? team, while Cameron Roser-Peet took 37th in the competition with a 20:38.
Jacob Boller (51st, 21:39) and Anthony Villatoro (52nd, 21:47) finished back to back for IMS, while Seth Danga took 60th with a 22:55 to round out the scoring places for the team.
Micah Miller took 66th and Gerardo Mendoza finished in 76th place for IMS.
On the girls? side of the meet, Calli Shaw led the team with a 13th-place finish, taking a time of 24:03 with her to the finish, while Mackenzie Gutierrez finished the race in 26:58, good for 38th place.
Sarena Gerber took 50th on the night with a 28:40, while Rachel Geyer finished in 59th and Greta Schrag took 60th, each finishing around the 30-minute mark.
Ainley Shaw took 71st in the meet for IMS, who took seventh in the girls? meet.
Highland
The Highland boys? team took ninth place on the night, led by Caleb Brase who finished in 16th place (19:16).
Josh Brand took 38th on the night with a 20:47, with Bryan Redlinger finishing in 53rd (21:51) and Nic Rath taking 57th (22:19). Luke VanSchoyck took 67th to round out the team scoring, while Nathan Butler finished the race in 77th place.
Highland?s Zoe Mahler was the Huskies? top girl competitor at the meet, finishing in 29th place with a 25:27, while Kate McFarland finished in 45th overall (27:37), and Alli Brand finished in 48th (28:19).
WACO
WACO?s girls? cross-country team finished in ninth-place overall as a group on the night, led by Kasey Sutton, who took 58th place with a 29:52.
Michaela Shaffer finished in 63rd, while Emily Thomson had a 64th place finish, MaKenzie Shelman took 68th and Katie Malloy finished in 70th place.
On the boys? side, John Skriver took 50th place at the meet, running a time of 21:38, while Joe Edeker took 68th with a 23:25, Tanner Conwell finished in 72nd (23:58) and Trever Pategas finished in 80th (26:56).
