Area football teams have a lot on the line Friday night as District ply sweeps the Union coverage area.
Among the area’s games is a huge road test for Pekin, who travels to fifth-ranked Lisbon with first place on the line, as well as a monster showdown in Sigourney, as Sigourney-Keota welcomes in Pleasantville.
The week also presents a chance for a few teams to get their first win, as Cardinal, Van Buren County and New London all face winless foes.
