Arrows shoot down WMU in SEISC volleyball

WINFIELD — Visiting Wapello shot down the Wolves in Tuesday’s Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division volleyball match at Winfield-Mount Union.
WMU won the opening set, but the Arrows targeted wins in the final three sets 21-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-13.
WMU's Bradie Buffington had nine kills while Morgan Grelk and Melina Oepping hit six each. Keely Malone set 26 assists. Keetyn Townsley was able to get 51 digs.
Oepping was 13-for-14 serving with three aces and Aurey Meeker 16-of-16 with two aces.
WMU's record is now 4-3 overall, 1-1 North. The Wolves play Saturday at Wilton’s tournament.
