Baseball falls in road contest
After the first inning, it was slow going for the Washington baseball team on Tuesday night.
Despite taking a 1-0 lead early in the contest, the Demons fell 4-1 to Oskaloosa in a road contest, only mustering two hits for the night.
Dakota Kron notched an RBI single in the first to give the Demons an early lead, but Osky unloaded for four runs in the bottom of the sixth, closing the door on Washington.

Despite taking a 1-0 lead early in the contest, the Demons fell 4-1 to Oskaloosa in a road contest, only mustering two hits for the night.

Ryan Loy had the other hit on the night for Washington.
On the mound, Zach Londberg got the start, tossing 4 1/3 innings of scoreless ball, giving up five hits, while Tanner Coleman allowed two Oskaloosa runs on one hit and a walk.
Collin Zear notched the Demons? final two outs of the game, allowing two more runs to score in that span, but the damage had already been done, and the Demon offense couldn?t get going.
Washington moves to 15-12 on the year, and will pick up play on Thursday night at home, as they resume their doubleheader against Mt. Pleasant from last week.
