New London 12, West Liberty 2
New London led 3-0 after two innings. The Tigers then scored nine between the fourth and sixth innings to defeat the Comets.
Josh Catala and Camden Kasel each had two hits in the win. Catala also had three RBIs in the victory. Dereck Santiago, Tucker Gibbar, Carter Allen, Ryan Richey, Brenden Richey and Seth Bailey all finished with one hit. Santiago had three RBIs, while Gibbar and Brenden Richey each had one.
Kooper Schulte and Bailey both threw from the hill.
Highland 9, Pekin 6
Highland took a 4-0 lead after two innings against Pekin. The Panthers tied it 5-5 after six, but the Huskies outscored the Panthers 4-1 in the seventh.
Connor Grinstead finished with three hits for the Huskies and an RBI. Luke Miller, Chase Schultz, Trevor McFarland and Kaige Vonnahme each had two hits. All had one RBI and McFarland finished with two. Tyler Thompson also had one hit.
Grinstead, Schultz and Logan Bonebrake all pitched from the hill.
Blake Juhl led Pekin with four hits in the game. Colton Comstock, Jackson Horras and Levi Coleman finished with two hits each. Horras finished with a single RBI. Jaedon Wolver, Chandler Stull and Cade Parmenter each tallied one hit. Stull had an RBI as well.
Comstock, Coleman and Chase Stansberry pitched for the Panthers.
Sigourney 11, Keota 3
The Savages scored two in the first, one in the third, three in the fourth, four in the fifth and one in the six on Wednesday to down the Eagles. Keota scored two in the fifth and one in the seventh.
Colten Clarahan, Chase Sieren and Caleb Waterhouse each had a hit for the Eagles. Sieren and Waterhouse also had one RBI.
Colten and Caden Clarahan pitched for Keota in the loss.
Ankeny Christian 4, Cardinal 0
The Eagles scored two in the first and two in the third against Cardinal. The Comets could never bring a run home
Landon Becker finished with a pair of hits for Cardinal. Tatem Telfer and Gavin Ware each had one hit.
Carson Kenney and Tristin Cloke each pitched for Cardinal in the loss.
Burlington Notre Dame 11, Winfield-Mt. Union 0
Winfield gave up four runs in three innings and seven between the fourth and fifth in the loss to Notre Dame.
West Burlington 8, Hillcrest Academy 6
West Burlington led 8-1 after the sixth inning. The Ravens scored five in the seventh, but were not able to complete the comeback.
Luke Schrock ended with two hits and three RBIs for the Ravens. Rown Miller also finished with a pair of hits and two RBIs. Liam Schrock, Noah Miller and Grant Bender each had one hit.
Phoenix Anderson and Mason Bender pitched for Hillcrest in the loss.
