Pekin 10, Louisa-Muscatine 2
Pekin never trailed against Louisa-Muscatine on Tuesday.
The Panthers led 6-2 after three innings and scored four more in the sixth to cap off the win.
Hillcrest Academy 11, Winfield-Mt. Union/Columbus 1
Hillcrest Academy scored in every inning played on Tuesday night against WMU/Columbus.
The Ravens scored four in the first innings, one each in the second and third, three in the fourth and two in the fifth.
The Wolves’ lone run came in the fourth.
Josiah Beachy, Rowan Miller, Jace Rempel and Seth Ours all had two hits in the game.
Beachy tallied three RBIs, Rempel had two and Miller one.
Grant Bender ended with a hit and two RBIs. Luke and Liam Schrock both added RBIs as well.
Ours took the win on the mound, giving up four hits, one run (zero earned), two walks and three strikeouts.
Van Buren County 2, Mediapolis 1
Van Buren County’s two runs were enough to get by Mediapolis on Tuesday night.
Tyler Stoltz finished with two hits in the game.
Anthony Duncan, Jackson Manning and Lucas Fett each had one hit.
Manning and Dylan Richardson each had one RBI.
Taylor Sprouse led the Warriors to a win on the hill, giving up one run (zero earned) on one hit and five strikeouts.
Chariton 9, Cardinal 2
Cardinal led 1-0 for two inning against Chariton on Tuesday, but the Chargers went on to score five between the third and fourth and another four in the sixth to grab the win over the Comets.
Drake Durflinger finished with two hits in the game for Cardinal.
Gavin Ware, Cayden Courtney and Craig Miller each had one hit. Ware along with Josh Courtney ended with one RBI.
