Baseball: Warriors keep on winning
Keota gets back on track with win over Colfax-Mingo

Van Buren County 6, Hillcrest Academy 1
Van Buren County and Hillcrest Academy were scoreless after two innings of action on Wednesday night, but the Warriors put four on the board in the fourth to break open the game.
The Ravens scored one in the top of the fifth, but the Warriors capped it off with two runs in the sixth.
Lucas Fett led the Warriors with three hits and five RBIs in the game.
Jackson Manning, T.J. Jirak and Anthony Duncan each had two hits. Manning added four RBIs and Duncan one.
Fett pitched a complete game allowing one run (one earned) four hits, three walks and four strikeouts.
For Hillcrest Academy, Seth Ours, Luke Schrock, Grant Bender and Josiah Beachy all had one hit. Ours had the lone RBI.
Phoenix Anderson took the loss on the mound.
Keota 5, Colfax-Mingo 0
Keota scored all five runs through the opening three innings against Colfax-Mingo on Wednesday night.
Aidan Anderson had three hits in the victory with two RBIs.
Tanner Waterhouse tallied two hits. Chase Sieren, Aiden McGuire and Dalton Dodd all had RBIs.
Waterhouse threw a complete game allowing no hits, no runs on four strikeouts.
Pekin 22, Danville 13
Pekin trailed Danville 5-3 after the first inning on Wednesday, but the Panthers went on to score two runs in each of the next four innings for a 11-7 lead heading into the sixth.
The Panthers ended with five runs in the sixth frame and six and the seventh.
Deklan Hampton had three hits for the Panthers in the win.
Joseph Coates, Hudson VanEnglenhove, Ben Ehret, Levi Coleman and JaeDon Wolver each at two hits.
Ehret ended with three RBIs. Wolver and VanEnglenhoven both had two RBIs as well.
Nolan Glick and Will Adam each had a pair of RBIs. Levi Coleman and Coates each had one.
