Basketball team gets second place
The Fairfield sixth-grade girls? traveling basketball team got second place at the Grinnell Tournament held Saturday. The Trojans beat Lynnville-Sully 31-12, Muscatine 34-26 and Grinnell 26-17. They played the championship game against an AAU team called Iowa Intensity. Fairfield lost that game 43-30.
