Baumann?s 37 leads Fairfield past Aldo Leopold

BURLINGTON ? Fairfield?s Cam Baumann dropped 37 points to go along with nine rebounds and seven steals, and the Fairfield seventh-grade ?A? team smoked Burlington?s Aldo Leopold 45-26 on Tuesday.

Josh Osby chipped in six points and eight rebounds; Denver Schultz had two points and four assists; and Brian Buch and Kyle Roberts tallied four boards apiece.

The Fairfield ?B? team lost 26-16. Braden Miller had a team-high six points and Jacob Schillerstrom scored five. Spencer Else and Austin Winslow each scored a basket while Cam Burke added one point.

In the ?C? game, Fairfield beat Aldo Leopold 29-12. Navin Martin led the winning effort with eight points. Kleyton Benedict and Ben Anderson contributed with seven and six points, respectively.

The Trojans? next game will be Monday at Fairfield Middle School against Keokuk.

FORT MADISON ? The Fairfield seventh-grade boys? basketball team picked up one win in its two-game set Monday.

The Fairfield ?A? team fell to the Bloodhounds 52-46. Cam Baumann again led the Trojans with 24 points, eight rebounds, three steals and three assists. Josh Osby had nine points and six boards and Denver Schultz tallied seven points. Brian Buch scored four points and Kyle Roberts scored a basket and came down with four rebounds.

The ?B? team beat Fort Madison 29-20. Braden Miller, Jacob Schillerstrom and Dylon Abbott scored six points apiece. Cam Burke added four points while Brandon Winkelman and Spencer Else tallied two apiece.
