Work is being done on one of the Little League fields this fall ? improvements are being made to the ?National League? field, which is used most often by players.
The soil has been removed and is being replaced, the field was graded to help it drain and it was moved back 15 feet.
The project is the result of a Little League fundraiser, and Little League President Willy Amos intends to do the same for the next two seasons in order to improve the other two fields.
?We were pretty excited about the support we got, and about how the kids and parents came together,? Amos said.
