Bowlers’ seasons end

Both the Washington High School boys and girls teams ended their season Thursday at May City Bowl in Cedar Rapids.
The meet was to qualify for state. No Demon did so.
The boys team finished fifth and the girls were sixth.
Ethan Zieglowsky had the high game and high series for Washington, finishing with games of 188 and 226 for a 414 total. Riley Lambert bowled a 203 and a 185 for his 388 series. Drake Schluetter scored a 143-182 for his series of 325. Liam Eldridge had a 132 and a 127 for his total of 259.
The baker games were 142, 132, 136, 128 and 133 for a total of 671 to go with the series' total of 1386 for a 2,057 score.
The girls totaled 1,286 on their series to go with baker games of 169, 111, 110, 117, and 146 for a 653 and combined total of 1,939.
Dawsen Schluetter led the way with games of 126 and 154 for a 280 series. Taylor Northup was right behind with a series of 279 with games of 152 and 127. Taylor Janecek bowled games of 123 and 144 for a 267. Rylie Swart scored games of 144 and 104 for a total of 248. Katie Donnolly shot 93 and 119 for a 212.
