The Pioneers were in the game early, trailing only 13-6 after one period, before the Rockets connected on three straight 3-pointers to start the second quarter. The Pioneers were held scoreless in the quarter and scored 12 points the rest of the way.
James Francis led the Pioneers with six points and also grabbed six boards. Paul DeAngelis scored four points and recorded seven rebounds, Rashan Anderson scored four and Dillon Evertsen finished with four boards.
Despite the loss, the Pioneers (0-4, 0-4 SEISC south) managed to post season highs in steals (7) as well as assists (5).
Maharishi School will look to bounce back with a contest at Cardinal Tuesday.
