Monday boys basketball playoff scoreboard

Union area small school boys basketball kicked off their playoff runs on Monday night. A majority of area squads faced off with one another, but in all it was a pretty successful night for the area.

Mid-Prairie, WACO, Winfield-Mt. Union, Keota and Hillcrest Academy all advanced to the second round with victories.

On the contrary, Cardinal, Pekin, New London, Van Buren County and Highland all came out on the losing end of the first round action.
