Boys basketball roundup: Cardinal picks up first win
Southeast Iowa Super Conference holds conference shootout

Last week was yet another busy week of Union area boys basketball, which was headline by the Southeast Iowa Super Conference’s annual SEISC Conference Shootout.
The yearly event gave basketball fan plenty to be intrigued about as SEISC North and South teams gave fans quite the show between Friday and Saturday.
The shootout was capped off with some stellar matchups between WACO and Holy Trinity followed by Winfield-Mt. Union and West Burlington at Southeastern Community College on Saturday.
The postseason approaches quickly as just one week of regular season action remains. Teams will receive their postseason assignments this week.
