Breard named MWC Hitter of the Week
Former Washington Demon Walker Breard is making noise in for his new baseball team, the Cornell Rams.
On Monday, Breard, a freshman at Cornell, was recognized as the Midwest Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week for the weekof April 6-12.
Breard batted .714 over the span (10-for-14), with four home runs, three doubles, seven runs scored and had 10 RBIs in a four-game series against Illinois College.

Former Washington Demon Walker Breard is making noise in for his new baseball team, the Cornell Rams.
On Monday, Breard, a freshman at Cornell, was recognized as the Midwest Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week for the weekof April 6-12.
Breard batted .714 over the span (10-for-14), with four home runs, three doubles, seven runs scored and had 10 RBIs in a four-game series against Illinois College.
He is currently second on the team with a .391 average and leads the team with six homers on the season.
Breard, as well as fellow former Demons TJ Rausch and Jared Henry, will be in Mt. Pleasant on April 21 when they take on Iowa Wesleyan at 6 p.m.
