Breen, others play in senior All-Star game

The Southeast Iowa senior all-star game in Burlington on Saturday featured several area boys and girls basketball players showcasing their in-game abilities during the scrimmage, along with their specialty talents during a dunk contest and a 3-point shootout.
Girls
The visiting team won 70-42 after leading 37-23 at the half, both games featured two-20 minute halves and the only girl from The Ledger coverage area was Anna Neeley of Van Buren. Kristen Conley of WACO won the 3-point contest.
Boys
Fairfield's Collin Breen, Trey Albert of Cardinal, Cameron Millikin and Caleb Comstock of Pekin and Mason McDonough and Caleb Johnson of Van Buren all participated in the gentlemen's event with the visitors winning 112-98 after trailing 55-52 at the half. Keaton Mitchell of Wapello won the dunk contest with Breen and McDonough participating and Millikin finished second in the 3-point contest to Ben Wolgemuth of MePo after tying for the opening round lead.
Pekin's Caleb Comstock played in the Southeast Iowa senior All-Star game in Burlington Saturday.
