Bryce West wins 120 pound state title
Highland sophomore Bryce West won the Class 1A 120-pound state wrestling title on Saturday night by a 14-6 major decision over No. 4 ranked Cole Needham.
"I'm finally state champ," West said. "There are a lot of emotions."
West started off the match with a flurry of points as the match never seemed to be in doubt for the sophomore, who finished in second place at the state tournament last season.

"It feels good," West said. "(I'm going to have to work) a lot harder (to repeat). People will be coming up and I need to practice hard and do my best."
