Buffington makes All-Tournament team
WMU senior represents Wolves on state All-Star team
DES MOINES — The Class 1A All-Tournament team was released shortly after North Linn knocked off Marquette Catholic in the state boys basketball championship on Friday afternoon. Semifinalist Winfield-Mount Union had one player on the list.
Wolves’ senior Cam Buffington represented WMU on the list. Buffington finished the quarterfinal game with 21 points and nine rebounds, and also collected 12 points and seven rebounds in the semifinal game.
Buffington was joined on the All-Tournament team by North Linn’s Mason Bechen and Ty Pflughaupt, as well as Marquette Catholic’s Spencer Roeder and Lake Mills’ Aiden Stensrud.
