Busy weekend for Ide in Central Iowa

Ide Gymnastics attended two different meets the weekend of February 23-24.
On Saturday, they competed in the AAU Rocks meet in Des Moines and took 27 athletes and came home with 24 first places.
Jaxon McDaniel had a great day with first places in all events, Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline, Single Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling.
Coach Marissa Rupe and Lexie Wiley both brought in first in Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling.
Shay Smith brought in first in Trampoline and Power Tumbling.
First in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline were Hayden Smith, Nathaniel Merrell, and Tori Haynes.
First in Trampoline only were Chaz Wohnoutka, Alyson Lilley, Edith Diers and Adler Haynes.
First in Double Mini only were Payton Wiley and Brystol Wiley.
First in Single Mini Trampoline only was Roxie Hesler and in Power Tumbling only was Hailey Reinier.
Second place was Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline we had Amber Burroughs and Rowen Kness.
Second place in Trampoline only were Irma Jara, Skylar Smith, Hannah Gerdes, Eva Jara and Ryder Kness.
Fourth place was Kayona Krochak in Single Mini Trampoline and Maddie Cocherell in Double Mini Trampoline.
Fifth place was MaColie McEntee in Power Tumbling.
Sixth place was both Hope Barber in Single Mini Trampoline and Gabriella Diers in Double Mini Trampoline.
On Sunday, the team traveled to Melcher-Dallas with the theme Under the Sea for power tumbling only.
Hailey Reinier, Marissa Rupe, Brystol Wiley and Lexie Wiley all received first places in their respective levels.
Payton Wiley placed 3rd.
Gymnists from IDE placing in the Advanced Double Mini Trampoline were Marissa Rupe in first place and Amber Burroughs who placed second.
