Calli Shaw to join NWC Red Raider softball team this fall

ORANGE CITY ? Northwestern College head softball coach Chris Nachtigall announced the addition of a recruits who will continue their softball career for the Red Raiders in the fall of 2017.

Calli Shaw, of Wellman, is currently a four-year letter-winner for the Iowa Mennonite School softball team heading into this summer.

Shaw earned all-conference honors after hitting .431 with 11 extrabase hits as a junior.

Also an all-conference selection in cross-country, Shaw is a member of the honor roll and National Honor Society.

She plans to major in psychology and social work at Northwestern and is the daughter of Rich and Angie.

?We are excited that Calli has decided to be a part of our program,? stated Nachtigall.

?As an athlete, Calli has a lot of experience at both the club level and high school level. Her versatility as a player is a great asset.
