Callie Lou Clark, age 5 of Batavia, passed away at 4:20 PM, Monday, April 1, 2013, in Batavia, when the vehicle she was riding in was struck by a train.
A joint funeral service, with her sister Erica, will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 7, at Cardinal High School Gymnasium near Eldon with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be in the Batavia Cemetery.

Callie Lou Clark, age 5 of Batavia, passed away at 4:20 PM, Monday, April 1, 2013, in Batavia, when the vehicle she was riding in was struck by a train.
A joint funeral service, with her sister Erica, will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 7, at Cardinal High School Gymnasium near Eldon with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be in the Batavia Cemetery.
Friends may call after noon on Saturday, April 6 at Grace Funeral Care in Batavia, where the family will be present for visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday evening.
Callie was born on May 17, 2007, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Waylon and Tara Lewman Clark.
She was a kindergarten student at Cardinal Elementary School.
Survivors include her parents of Batavia; one sister, Jordan Ann Clark; grandparents, Dale and Denise Clark of Ottumwa, Brent Lewman of Batavia, and Ronda Lewman and Jeff Parrish of Douds; great-grandparents, Vivian Clark of Batavia, Roland Davis of Eldon, and Danny Showman of Martinsburg; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many more loving family and friends too numerous to mention.
She was preceded in death by her uncle Brian Lewman, and great-grandparents Ralph Clark, Gloria Davis, Norma Showman, and Thomas and Edna Lewman.
Callie was a very outgoing and loving child, who enjoyed spending time with her parents, sisters and grandparents. She always had a smile and could make anyone laugh.
Callie loved to dance, ride on the motorcycle with her dad, and watch Twilight movies with her mom.
She was a girly girl who could almost always be seen wearing a dress, and enjoyed playing with her Monster High Dolls, the Wii, and her dog Bo.
