ELDON ? The Cardinal volleyball team concluded SEISC play in Eldon with a 21-25, 17-25, 25-23, 17-25 loss to Danville on Tuesday.

The team?s only senior, Lindsay Moore, finished with 20 digs from the back row. Leea Ostrander, a junior, came through with 16 digs and a team-leading 10 kills. Danae Moses handed out 16 assists, and Delaney Ridgway spiked eight kills to go with four blocks. Dakota Durflinger tallied seven kills and Shelby Smith tacked on three blocks.
From behind the service line, Katey Liles was 20-for-21 with one ace and Lexi Fullenkamp finished with four ace serves.
The Comets finish conference play with a 4-9 mark and they are 10-13 overall. They will be back in action at a triangular in Van Buren on Thursday before kicking off regional play vs. Van Buren.
