Cardinal drops season opener

ELDON - The 2020-21 girls basketball season officially began for the Cardinal Comets on Tuesday night. Cardinal had their hands full with a tough Central Lee team, which ran past the Comets 57-17.
Kinsey Hissem led Cardinal with 11 points on the night and also pulled down seven rebounds.
Cardinal will have another tough matchup in its second game of the season. The Comets will welcome in Notre Dame on Monday night.
