Cardinal football season ends with loss

ELDON - The Cardinal football team finished out a tough district schedule on Friday night with a loss to playoff-bound BGM. The Comets failed to score for just the second time this season, falling 42-0.
Cardinal had a great start to the season. They went 4-0 in non-district play for the second-straight year, dominating each game by at least 24 points.
Cardinal had a couple of close calls in district play, falling 33-21 to Durant and 27-20 against Highland, but ultimately failed to win a district game for the second-straight season, going 4-5 overall and 0-5 in league play.
