Cardinal girls pick up first win

ELDON - The Cardinal girls basketball team is in the winner's column after a home win against Moravia on Saturday. The Comet finished the night with 27 steals en route to a 45-30 victory.
Cardinal led 6-5 after the first quarter and 17-11 at halftime. They turned up the head in the third period, stretching their lead to 33-18 and split the final quarter 12-12.
Alexia McClure had anohter big game, going for 19 poitns and nine rebounds in the win. Lydia Moses scored nine points and had a team-leading four assists and seven steals.
Kolbie Bass had nine points of her own in the victory. Maddie Cloke had five and Rachel Lewman scored three.
The Comets are now 1-3 overall this season. They'll hit the road to take on WACO on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
