Cardinal makes quick work of Holy Trinity
FORT MADISON ? Paced by Felisha Durflinger?s one-hitter, the Cardinal softball team needed just four innings to run away from Holy Trinity with a 12-0 victory Tuesday night.
The win moves the Comets to 12-1 in SEISC south division play ? and keeps them tied with New London at the top of the standings. Sarah Yeager led Cardinal going 3-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored followed by Morgan Benson?s 2-3 night.

Sarah Yeager led Cardinal going 3-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored followed by Morgan Benson?s 2-3 night. Durflinger allowed just one Holy Trinity hit in four innings of work that included three strikeouts. Durflinger also went 1-3 from the plate with an RBI.
Cardinal will be back out of action until they play in the Ottumwa tournament over the weekend.
