Cardinal volleyball defeats Danville
The Cardinal Comets volleyball team defeated Danville 24-26, 25-11, 23-25, 25-20, 15-5 Tuesday in Danville.
The match was close throughout. Cardinal fought back to win the fourth set and stay in the game. The fifth set was all Comets.
Katey Liles was 28-28 serving with five aces. Leea Ostrander was 23-25 serving and registered three aces.

Cardinal was able to spike the ball frequently. Amy Hart and Dakota Durflinger led the team with nine kills each. Cssidy McMartin had eight kills and Ostrander had seven.
Durflinger blocked six Danville attempts. Hart led the team in digs with 16.
