Carl R. Claman, 81, of Cantril, died at 7:57 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with family present from 4-6 p.m.

Carl R. Claman, 81, of Cantril, died at 7:57 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

Mr. Claman was born Aug. 22, 1929, in Cornea, N.M., the son of Nathaniel J. and Carrie Subrier Claman. He married Marian Cortum July 2, 1949, in Omaha, Neb.
