Cheerleaders compete at State
The Washington cheerleading team competed at the State Cheerleading Championships last Saturday and came away in 17th when all was said and done.
The team prepared and performed a 2-minute, 30-second routine, which included stunt sequences, a cheer and a dance. The Demons scored 30 points more than they did last season, and sports eight sophomores and two juniors.

Next season the returning members plan to keep increasing their placing, and hope to increase the difficulty of their routine.
