Chiefs hold off late Demon rally

After Keokuk went up by 22 points in the fourth quarter, it may have been easy to assume the game was over.
The Demons didn?t seem to have an answer for the Chiefs on Friday night, and had fallen behind, but they found something that clicked for them in the middle of the fourth quarter.
Sparked by a pair of points from junior Bryce Sinn, Washington went on a 21-4 run led by a pair of Derek Anding 3-pointers, as the Demons closed the gap to five points, but Keokuk withstood the rally and pulled away, handing Washington a 79-69 loss.
The loss pushed the Demons to 2-4 in the early portion of the season (1-1 in conference
play).
Anding notched a team-high 27 points in the game, followed by Jack Redlinger?s 14 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Sinn had 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds in the contest.
Washington will face Marion to wrap up the 2015 portion of the season on Tuesday night.
