CJ Speedway victor is weather
Rain wins Friday’s action

COLUMBUS JUNCTION — With the pits full of race cars and the stands full of fans, a light rain started to fall Friday at the Columbus Junction Speedway.
The drivers and others tried to keep the track packed in, but Mother Nature was determined. She would not give up and the track became too wet to race.
Racing will continue at the CJ Speedway Friday with a full program of weekly racing.
The late models will be at the CJ Speedway Friday, May 28, as the Haulin With Hoker East Series of the Super Late Model Racing Association will be in town to tackle the 4/10ths mile track on the Louisa County Fairgrounds. All classes will race on the 28th.
