Class 1A/2A postseason baseball brackets
Mid-Prairie leads 2A-5, Van Buren County takes second spot

Thanks to the release of the Class 1A and 2A postseason brackets by the Iowa High School Athletic Association last week, Union area teams now know what their path to the state tournament could look like.
In Class 2A, No. 2 Mid-Prairie gets a first-round bye as the Golden Hawks earn the top seed in 2A-5 District 9.
The Golden Hawks will get either Wilton or Tipton in the second round at home.
Mid-Prairie has defeated both twice this season.
Also in District 9 is West Liberty and West Branch. The two squads will battle it out for a spot against Durant.
On the opposite side of the bracket in District 10, Van Buren County holds the No. 2 spot and gets the opening round bye.
The Warriors will host either Winfield-Mt. Union or Louisa-Muscatine in the second round.
The winner of Central Lee and West Burlington will take on Mediapolis.
The lone team representing in Class 2A-6 District 12 is Cardinal.
Cardinal will take on Centerville in the opening round. Should the Comets win, they will match up with Pella Christian in the second.
Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and Davis County will take on one another for a chance at Central Decatur in the top side of the District 12 bracket.
District 11 features No. 1 Van Meter, West Central Valley, Chariton, Nodaway Valley, Interstate 35 and Albia.
In Class 1A, New London and Highland are both in 1A-5 District 9.
The Huskies and Tigers will face one another for chance to play No. 8 Burlington Notre Dame in second round.
Moravia will battle Moulton-Udell, while North Mahaska and Twin Cedars will face off.
On the bottom side of 1A-5 in District 10, Hillcrest Academy takes on Lone Tree.
Keota gets Pekin in the first round.
The lower half of District 10 features matchups between Sigourney and Danville and Regina Catholic and Wapello.
All first round matchups will take place on July 1 with games starting at 5 p.m. followed by 7 p.m. games.
Second round games will take place on Wednesday, July 5 at the same times as the first.
District finals will take place on Saturday, July 8, followed by the substate final qualifying round on Tuesday, July 11 at 7 p.m.
