Class 3A baseball postseason set

Washington will play at home to open the Class 3A baseball postseason while Mt. Pleasant will travel to ninth-ranked Fort Madison. Fairfield will be at Central DeWitt.
The first round of the 3A postseason will be Friday, July 16.
Clear Creek-Amana will bring its 15-13 record to Washington (14-9). The winner will play the winner of Keokuk (3-27) and seventh-ranked Davenport Assumption (21-12).
Fort Madison has a 22-6 ledger, and Mt. Pleasant is 5-20. Fairfield is 10-16 while Central DeWitt is 18-11.
Should both Mt. Pleasant and Fairfield win, the two teams would face each other in Fairfield, Monday July 19.
The game to go to state, the substate final, will be Wednesday, July 21, at the highest remaining seed.
